11Golf Almerimar has two golf courses
Almerimar golf course is located in Spain on the western coast of the province of Almeria. It is an ideal location to combine a family holiday with a golf trip as the hotel and golf resort is a five minutes’ stroll from both the beach and a marina which is full of restaurants and bars.

Almerimar golf courses
Golf Almerimar is the only 27 hole golf course in Almeria. There are 2 golf courses that cover approximately approx. 802.000 mē. The Master course is 18 holes, 6148 meters in length (yellow), par 72 and the Classic course is 9 holes, 2887 meters in length (yellow), par 36.
The Master course was designed by Gary Player and Trent Jones in 1974. It is a challenging course with wide fairways, bordered by amazing palm trees and well kept rouges and flora. The fairways are punctured with strategy placed bunkers and beautiful water hazards.
Golf School and Classic Golf course
Almerimar’s Golf Academy has excellent practice facilities as well as offering golf lessons by the club's professional golfer. The academy facilities include, a putting green, a chipping area, a bunker area and a 9 hole, par 36 golf course. A wide selection of golf programs are on offer for children or adults. The lessons are held in groups of 4 to 8 and are designed for different levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Cheaper than the Costa del Sol
Golf courses in Almeria are much cheaper than the traditional destinations of Portugal the Costa del Sol. With the construction of a new motorway that runs between the Costa del Sol and Almeria, visitors can now use this motorway to quickly and easily drive from Malaga airport to the province of Almeria.
With an all-year-round golf climate that is considered to be the best in Europe, Almeria is becoming a popular destination for golfers and visitors alike
