Aguilon golf course is located near Pulpí in the northeast of Almería, 35 km from Marina Playa Hotel. It is widely reviewed as one of the most spectacular, visually dramatic, and challenging
desert-style golf courses in Europe. The course is highly technical and punishes loose shots severely. If you take on this course remember to bring an extra bag of balls.

Accommodation and room features
The Hotel Servigroup Marina Playa is a beachfront 4-star hotel on Mojacar Playa only a few steps from the Marina Golf course. The spa hotel provides modern and well equipped accommodation, 3 saltwater and one heated swimming pool which is covered during the winter months.
The hotel has 334 spacious and comfortable rooms with a balcony and superb views of Mojacar beach or the Golf course. The rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, full bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, international TV channels and 15 music channels, mini fridge and a free safe. It has children's play areas and a children's club during the summer.
Wellness center, spa, restaurants and leisure facilities
There is a wellness center which includes a gym, hot tub, sauna, Turkish Bath, massages and various face and body treatment rooms. The Hotel also has a Paddle Club and 4 courts, each court is painted in a different color. The courts are available to hotel guests and non residents who can attend training classes on a daily basis which is taken by a qualified coach.

Marina Playa Hotel is an easy walk to the Spanish tourist resorts of Garrucha and Mojacar where you will find numerous restaurants and bars. A bus stop is located on the road outside the hotel which provides an excellent service that travels along the Mojacar Playa's 7 km seafront and to the old town of Mojacar Pueblo, located in the hillside, 1 km from the seafront.

Almeria is nicely split into 2 golfing regions. Courses close to Mojacar include, Valle del Este, Desert Springs, Marina Golf and Aguilon. Courses close to Almeria City include, Alboran, Playa Serena, La Envia and Golf Almerimar.
