Desert Springs is Europe's only desert golf course
Desert Springs luxury family resort is located in Almeria in the South-East region of Spain. It is 9 km from the town of
Cuevas del Almanzora, 12 km from the coastal town of Villaricos and 17 km from the tourist resort of Mojacar. Along with golf, the resort also offers other sports and leisure facilities
such as, tennis courses, padel courses, basketball, cricket and football. At the centre of the resort you will find, swimming pools the (“Crocodile Club”) with a restaurant and bar, a gym and
a spa for massages and beauty treatments.
Desert Springs International Championship Indiana golf course is 18-holes, Par 72, 5708 meters in length (yellow tees). It is known for being Europe’s first desert-style course, offering a unique challenge with its desert landscape. The course overlooks the Almanzora Valley and is easy accessible from Almeria, Murcia and Alicante airports.

Desert Springs is an ideal location to stay and play other local courses such as Aguilon, Lorca, Valle del Este and Marina golf courses. I would definitely consider playing Aguilon Golf, which is located in Pulpi / San Juan de los Terreros area, a 11 km drive away. You will find the course different and challenging with ravines, water hazards, different elevations and excellent scenery. Bring an extra bag of balls when you play this course.
