Jack Nicklaus Golf Trail
El Valle Golf Course is located on the Costa Cálida, close to the town of Casa de la Tercia. It is a premier 18-hole championship desert-style course designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus and part of the famous Jack Hicklaus Golf Trail. GNK operate 3 of the 6 golf courses that are included in the Nickilas Trail, namely El Valle, La Torre and Hacienda Riquelme Golf. The other 3 courses are Saurines Golf, Alhama Signature and Mar Menor.
Jack was considered to be one of the greatest golfers of all time winning 117 professional tournaments in his career. .
Golf course design
The course is a medium-length, par-71, 6355 meters in length
(white), situated in a beautiful natural desert valley. It contains
over 5 hectares of bunkers that separate the putting greens and a
desert landscape that has been dove-tailed into the course design,
with numerous fairways running adjacent to existing rock
outcroppings and ridges .
The course has a 'core' design with holes grouped together to create an open and natural experience for the players by screening out the resort's property developments.
Clusters of strategically placed smaller bunkers create playing hazards around the numerous "crowned" greens. The greens are edged by large mowed chipping area to present players with an opportunity to test their short game.

The desert course is landscaped with many species of native shrubs, grasses and other desert plants. Water features, including 2 large lakes on the 6th hole, plus numerous streams and waterfalls to further enhance the golfers experience of the course.
Overall the course rewards players for accurate play and favours the intelligent player who can manage his or her game.
The Club House and Sandalo Restaurant
The El Valle Golf Resort Club House is at the beating heart of this lively community. This is where the residents and golfers come together to dine,
celebrate, and create great memories. Within the Club House is the excellent Sandalo Restaurant which offers a range of highly enjoyable food.
After a round of golf this is a great place to unwind in the cozy and comfortable lounge, or on the Club House terrace which has stunning views of the resort.
5-Star Doubletree By Hilton accommodation
If you require accommodation the Doubletree By Hilton Hotel, is situated in the center of the La Torre Golf Resort. The Resort is located close to the C-3319 dual carrageway which provides save and easy travel to other local golf courses, the Mar Menor beaches and the Mediterranean Sea.
La Torre luxury apartments and villas
Accommodation is also available in the resort's luxury apartments and villas, which are location around the 18 hole golf course. It is a highly exclusive gated resorts with 24h security, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, a golf clubhouse, pro shop plus many other facilities.

A message from GNK's Golf Team - Winter 2024
We have enjoyed a good autumn high season here at GNK Golf. All 3 golf courses have been in good condition and we are very grateful to see all 3 golf courses are very busy. We have received a lot of positive feedback from our golfers. We are continuously improving the maintenance of our courses and we have just received the addition of 2 new John Deere mowers that will help our maintenance crew do their job even better. The weather here in Murcia has been fantastic and we were very fortunate to avoid the severe rainstorms that so drastically and sadly effected our neighbors to the north. Our local residents have been busy acquiring tools and provisions which have been transported to the people in Valencia who so badly need them.
