Las Rambles golf course design
Las Rambles was designed by Jose Pepe Gancedo who is a distinguished golf architect who designed 18 courses during his career. The course was opened in 1991 as an 18 hole par 72 championship course with over 5759 mts in length playing from the white tees.
The course design has been cleverly incorporated into the natural contours of the landscape and features, steep valley terrains, hills, ravines and an old river bed that snakes along the route of the course.
The course is considered to be one of the hardest, unforgiving and technical courses in the Murcia region. It should not be regarded as a holiday play option as it demands extreme accuracy over power. Hitting a driver on the many par-4 holes is risky due to the narrow canyons. Accurate iron play and careful management of the course are essential
Several of the tee positions requires the Golfer to drive over deep ravines. The course has narrow fairways that are surrounded by Mediterranean pine trees, water hazards on 10 of the 18 holes, rocky out rops and big greens that are smooth and fast. It is a great challenging that will test the Golfers skill and accuracy. Remember to bring plenty of balls if you are to complete all 18 holes.
Club house and restaurant
Las Ramblas has a well equipped and modern club house where you will find the pro shop, changing rooms and an excellent restaurant which servers salads, pizzas, sandwiches, hamburgers and a full English breakfast.
